    Medical assistants play a vital role in the healthcare profession. Their tasks can include both administrative duties and clinical duties ranging from scheduling appointments to billing to assisting patients. Your responsibilities as a medical assistant is dependent on the size and speciality of the practice.

    The Medical Assistant program at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Career Institute (À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ) can be completed in as few as 21 months and is offered through the York, Pennsylvania campus. Courses are completed in a hybrid format, meaning part of the instruction is offered online and the other part consists of hands-on, on-campus learning. For online learning, materials are accessible in an asynchronous format 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
